Voting is for Old People...

Above are the 3 chosen one's aka Lebron's of the Caption Contest. There were some hilarious captions this time around and I wish we could've picked more than 3 but rules are rules. Just so everyone knows we dont pick the finalists at random, we actually ask a bunch of people which ones they like best than tally up the votes and vuala!!! If you didnt make the cut don't worry because there will be many more to come. Anyways the voting will go on till Saturday at Midnight and the winner will be crowned on Sunday. Good luck and in the words of P-Diddy.....Vote or Die!!!

The Results Are In...

I posted a poll last week called "Battle of the Flight Suit" and after 44 million votes from all over the globe the winner is (drum roll please).....Michael Jordan aka Air Jordan aka His Airness!!!! Jordan received 23 votes (how ironic) and beat out The D.O.C by 5 votes while the L.A. Posse rounded out the poll with 4 votes but still dope none the less! I gotta say I thought it couldve gone to The D.O.C. because he killed it with the Nike Air tee, rope chain and African pendant but MJ's fit was super clean and I mean c'mon, the suit was made for him.....literally!!! Thanks to everyone who voted and until next time let's connect, POLLitic, ditto!!

Battle of the Flight Suit...

The Jordan IV apparel was just as dope as the kicks and this is one of my favorite vintage Flight suits of all time. I rock my jacket all the time but still need the pants to complete the suit. Above we have MJ, The D.O.C and The L.A. Posse rocking the same suit but all with a different steez and I ask you.....who rocked it best??? MJ Pic via FTHT

Black With an Attitude...

A couple weeks ago I posted the vintage Howard B.W.A tee and we also have a vintage Black Bart B.W.A tee in stock. They are both pretty dope but I ask you, which one should be crowned king of the B.W.A tees?

The Results Are In...

This poll was as one sided as it gets but I cant say I disagree with the results. After 41 million votes, America has decided that Notorious BIG aka The King of New York is the clear winner in the battle of the Coogi sweater. The Fridge might've gotten a couple votes from longtime Bears fans but you cant deny that Biggie was to Coogi what NWA was to Raiders & Kings gear. I dont think anyone will ever rock a Coogi like Biggie did or even rap like him for that matter! Thanks to everyone who voted!!!

Who Rocked it best...

The Fridge went with the classic newsboy cap to top off his fit while Biggie rocked his famous combo of Versace shades and a gold Jesus piece! "I stay Coogi down to the socks, rings and watch filled with rocks and my jam knock in the Mitsubishi Girls pee pee when they see me." - Notorious BIG - One More Chance

In Living Color...

In Living Color was the best show in the early 90's and above are 3 vintage t-shirts to prove it! I wonder if they made a Handy-Man or Fire Marshall Bill t-shirt because that would be amazing!

The Results are in...

Last week I posted a poll that asked the question "Who Rocked it Best"? The jacket was a white vintage Nike Flight jacket and the contestants were Michael Jordan, Dr Dre and Flava Flav. I've been tallying the votes all day long and the verdict is in (drum roll please)........The winner with 37% of the votes is the man, the myth, the legend Michael "Air" Jordan!!!! I personally voted for Dr Dre because I think he killed it with vintage LA Raiders script hat but the people have spoken otherwise! Thanks to all 46 million that voted ;-)

The Results are in...

(Insert Ryan Seacrest Voice) The results have been tallied and America has voted............the winner for the 2nd "Battle of the Track Suit" poll is........drumroll.........Dikembe Mutombo Mpolondo Mukamba Jean-Jacques Wamutombo!!!!!! I agree with the voters because the vintage Mutombo track suit is so sick and so rare that even a Michael Jordan V suit cant touch it!! Right now I want everyone who voted for the Mutombo suit to put your index finger in the air and wave it like you just don't care!! I will post the 3rd Poll next week and thanks again to the 28 (million) voters this time around :-)

Battle of the Track Suit pt 2...

For the 2nd poll in the "Battle of the Track Suit" I went with some NBA greats who were influential both on and off the court. I had a bunch of Jordan suits but I picked my favorite one out of the bunch and I also had a Knicks colorway Ewing top but not the pants. Anyways this is a tough choice for me but I think I know which one I like best, lets see what you guys (& girls) think!!!!!

The Jordan V grape suit is one of the most popular vintage Jordan suits for the simple reason, people love the colorway. Also the suit has zip off sleeves which turns the top into a vest which makes it even cooler and transformer like!!!

The Mutombo track suit was made to match the Dikembe Adidas but surprisingly it wasn't produced by Adidas. This track suit is BANANAS, from the crazy African print to the big 55 logo on the back.......this screams Mutombo finger wave!!

The Ewing suit is a little different from the other two seeing how its short sleeve and has the tearaway pants, more traditional NBA warm-up suit. The suit is made by Adidas which Ewing endorsed throughout the 80s and has the #33 embroidered on the front as well as the big Ewing logo on the back!!

Battle of the Track Suit...

I will be doing a 4 part POLL called Battle of the Track Suit to determine the best vintage track suit that I have in stock. Whether you call it a warm-up suit, a track suit or a Guido Tuxedo (thats my favorite) everyone has owned one at some point in their life. The track suit has been a staple in sports, music and fashion for over 40 years now. In 1964, Adidas began to produce tracksuits as leisure wear. These had the distinctive Adidas three stripes, zipped trouser bottoms and collars, and stirrups, features which remained popular for decades. The emergence of tracksuits as a fashion item began in the 1970s and although they were at first mostly worn by athletes, tracksuits became increasingly fashionable in the hip hop community in the 80s.

FaFa Fooey...

Gary Dell'Abate aka BaBa Booey from the Howard Stern show threw out the 1st pitch on Saturday at the Mets game. All week prior they talked about it on air and Gary was super nervous in fear he would be one of "those people" who would never live down their pitch. Well sure enough Gary is one of those people and Id say he's in the top 3 worst 1st pitches ever.....Congrats!

The Results Are In...

Earlier this week I did a a POLL and asked: Who wore the Nike Cortez the best? The choices were Farrah Fawcett, Forrest Gump and George Costanza. The votes have been tallied and the winner by a landslide is the one and only Forrest Gump......Run Forrest Run!!!! Costanza and Farrah tied for 2nd place but the king of the Cortez will always be Forrest Gump!!

Cortez...

Farrah rocked them while skating, Forrest ran miles in his and George wore them with pride on Seinfield.....but who wore them best?

Coach Bill Bowerman would try anything to make a better running shoe, even a pair of flip-flops. He grafted them into a training shoe to create the first full-length midsole and his hybird became the Cortez. In 1972 the Cortez changed running and people said it felt like running on the moon. 37yrs later the Cortez is still going strong with no intentions of stopping.

The Results Are In...

Last week I did a POLL and asked the question: If you were Crocodile Dundee what sneaker would you want to rock after surviving a crocodile attack???? After millions and millions of votes (actually only 16 votes) there was no clear winner. I spent all night tallying the votes and it was a split decision between Nike, Adidas, Vans and Puma with New Balance getting no love. Thanks to everyone who voted and hopefully next time we can get the vote count up to 20 :-)

Nike X Supreme...

Supreme has been doing collabos with Nike as long as I can remember. From the cement dunk low sb to the Blazer to the Trainer they almost always drop heat that is sure to sell out and increase in value over the years. Above are my personal favorite collabos and I made a poll to see which ones you like the best.....ENJOY!
