It's a Black Bart Thang, you must understand....
Vintage Black Bart tee complete with a Marcus Garvey quote......(Lil Flip voice) game over!!!! If I had a dream team of Black Bart's the one above would definitely be in my starting five, probably runnin the point! Usually Black Bart rocks some Nikes but this time he switched it up and represented the Fila Fresh Crew! All you need is an African medallion and a Kufi (Air Raid "Peace" Editions would be a bonus!) and you're good to go!!

Black With an Attitude...
As Seen On...

Fomer WWF Teedy Long rockin a vintage Black Bart B.W.A t-shirt!!! Long is a former WWF referee and manager who is most notable managing stint with wrestlers like D'Lo Brown, Rodney Mack, Christopher Nowinski, Rosey, Mark Henry and Jazz. He played a stereotypical "held-down" minority, using ebonics (such as, "Don't be drinkin' that Hate-orade." and "You know I'd look good on the dolla dolla bill.") His stable would be referred to by fans as "Thuggin' & Buggin' Enterprises.

Air Simpson...

Above is the infamous Black Bart "Air Simpson" tee that was featured in the Washington Post back in 1990. The success of Bart Simpson merchandise inspired an entire line of black market counterfeit items, especially T-shirts. Some featured Bart announcing various slogans, others depicted redesigns of the character, including: Teenage Mutant Ninja Bart, Air Simpson Bart and Rasta Bart to name a few. Surprisingly Matt Groening did not object to bootleg merchandise probably because the exposure it was generating. I wonder if Nike ever had anything to say about these because Black Bart stayed in the flyest Nike gear!

Black and White Unite...

This shirt is museum quality right here!! The Black Bart is obviously BO Jackson of the Raiders while the White Bart could be Joe Montana or Steve Young of the 49ers and together they make up the "Best California Team". One day in the near future I will do a post that catalogs every vintage Black Bart tee I've had in stock or have found pics of so get ready because that will monumental! If youre a connisuer of the finer things in life aka Bootleg Black Bart tees than this is a must have in you're wardrobe! I wonder if theres a Boston version floating around anywhere because that would be my holy grail!!! Now that I think of it Black Bart actually looks like the homie Landlord with his flat top, haha.

M.C. Bart...

I've said it before and I'll say it again, I want to open a museum for vintage Black Bart tees!!! Check out this one we have in stock: M.C. Bart is chillin with a couple fly girls and has on a vintage Dapper Dan Nike sweatsuit (insert Ice Cube voice) with a little bit of gold and a pager!!! I think hammer pants are making a comeback and this shirt would go great with a pair of metallic gold ones like MC Hammer used to wear. If youre a fan of Bootleg Bart tees than checkout this ARTICLE from 1990 to get an idea of the phenomenon that was Black Bart!
