WWJWD! Big Game James looking cool as the other side of the pillow in his triacetate Starter warm-up and Starter dufflebag, which is most likely used for transporting his goggles and New Balances. In the 1980s triacetate was also used with polyester to create shiny tracksuits which were very popular at the time. The material was very smooth and shiny on the outside and soft and fleecy on the inside......say word!!

Peep this vintage Starter ad out of an old Sports Illustrated! They don't make ad's like they used to so Im gonna make it a point to recreate these amazing masterpieces if you will. If you get an email from me next year with a specific date and time to be in LA for a photoshoot you'll know what its for! There is so much stuff going on in the picture I don't know where to start. The little Celtics kid is cool but the old guy behind him is a little creepy. The Flyers and Mets dudes are too funny for their own good. The Lakers guy looks like a ......... no comment (GO CELTICS)! At the top of the ad is LT, Ron Franics, James Worthy & Darryl Starwberry rocking their team Starter jackets which is dope! *CLICK PICS TO ENLARGE*

Check out the cool vintage Starter add featuring Chris Mullin of the Golden State Warriors. Mullin is mean mugging for the camera while wearing a Warriors starter parka. I remember when everyone rocked these parkas back in highschool. Remember if you look for the stars (or in my eBay store), you'll find STARTER!

I posted these Flight Lites awhile back and was super bummed because they were listed on ebay in my size/deadstock condition and somehow I didnt see them!!!!! Im over it now but here is a cool vintage Ad (click to enlarge) from 1990 that features the same colorway. The basis of the poster is that the new (at the time) Flite Lites were the lightest basketball shoe on earth or any planet for that matter weighing in at a mere 15 ounces. Now-a-days I think the lightest basketball sneaker is the Hyperdunk weighing in at only 13 ounces.

American Apparel has always pushed the envelope in their ad campaigns and left very little to the imagination but I guess they didnt want you to use your imagination anymore!! In previous ad's they never would show full nudity they would always tease you like when you were younger and you watched soft porn on cinemax at night when you parents were sleeping, HAHAHAHA! I guess the people over at American Apparel decided it was time to show whatcha momma gave you so they hired some "ADULT" actresses to shoot nude ad's. These ad's have gotten a lot of attention lately and I personally dont mind them and I think they are very artistic :-) I know one thing for sure the ad's are making me want to go buy a zipper-front bodysuit, LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL
