Kanye X LV part 2....

A couple weeks ago the 1st Kanye x LV collabo hit the internet and had people buzzing like a swarm of killer bees. Now thanks to Hypebeast we have pics of the 2nd design out of the rumored 6 to release. I dont think the overall design is that bad (nothing ground breaking) but I dont really like all red kicks and I dont care for that big cushion on the back heel. The heel cushion looks like its a stopper for a grocery cart...you know when youre walking in front of someone and they run into your heel with the cart and it hurts like hell!!!! Anyways these will be available in June at LV stores and the price is TBD.

Boot + Leg...

Above is a classic vintage bootleg Gucci sweatshirt that I have in stock. These sweatshirts are a fixture in the vintage world and everyone should have one in their wardrobe. These were made in the late 80s & early 90s and could be purchased at local flea markets, swap meets or good ol Canal st. Although they arent real Gucci they are still very sought after and can fetch anywhere from $20-$100 depending on size, color & condition.

Sex Sells...

Above are a couple Tom Ford Ads for his first fragrance for men. The former creative director of both Gucci and YSL really knows how to give you just enough skin and let your imagination do the rest :-)

Gucci Necklace...

As I often like to do I'll keep with the same theme of the last post. Above is a vintage Gucci perfume necklace that I have in stock. It actually comes with the original box which you dont see that often. I have to hide it because my girlfriend always want to steal it like she does with all my womens vintage, hahahaha. Hopefully this year I'll be able to get everything organized and have a new website which will have all my inventory listed so nobody is left out :-)

Gucci Goblets..

Above are some vintage Gucci deer goblets which I absolutely love!! Ive been wanting a set of these for awhile now but eveytime I get the chance to buy them I dont feel like spending the paper they cost! As with almost all vintage items the price depends on condition, rarity, quantity etc.. and these are no different. The above set which includes 6 big and 6 small goblets is actually on eBay as we speak with a $5,900.00 buy it now or best offer. There have been companies who've made recent imitations that I could buy for A LOT cheaper but like I always say...."The original is always better".

Skate or Die...

With the highly anticipated release of the Louis Vuitton Stephen Sprouse Graffiti collection right around the corner it seems like LV is trying their hand at skateboarding. For the launch, the luxury goods company is creating two limited edition pieces, which will only be available at the SoHo location: a Stephen Sprouse graffiti skateboard replete with a hard case monogram skateboard trunk, and a Stephen Sprouse “Roses” T-shirt. The company hopes to sell three graffiti skateboards with trunks for $8,250 each, and 70 T-shirts for $250 each. “I don’t expect them to last very long,” Lalonde said. “By Friday, there probably won’t be any more left.” Im thinking Pharrell aka Skateboard P might pick one up to shred in, HAHAHAHA. LV...

A little late on this one but Sean Connery aka "Bond, James Bond" has been photographed by Annie Leibovitz posing on a beach in the Bahamas for Louis Vuitton's Core Values advertising campaign, on the theme of travel as a personal journey. Connery is pictured sitting on a rough wooden landing stage on a beach near his home in the Bahamas with a waterproof version of Louis Vuitton's Keepall travel bag next to him. Created for the 2007 America’s Cup, Once closed, this Keepall becomes totally waterproof even when completely submerged. I really like the black features on this duffle it makes it more of a masculine bag IMO. The duffle is available at LouisVuitton.com for $2,180 if you're interested.
