Vintage 40 acres Malcolm X satin bomber jacket from the 1992 world tour promoting the movie. This isnt from that Marc Ecko reissue, this is the real deal Holyfield!! I wonder if Spike has one of these???? Just like the snapback below this jacket its too dope for words so just peep the pics!

These jackets are supercalifragilisticexpialiDOPENESS!!!! The all red jacket on the left is a vintage Style Auto which is a classic vintage racer style jacket with numerous zippers and the Ferrari patch on the left chest. The Red/Yellow jacket on the right might be my favorite find of last month and is quite possibly cooler than actually owning a Ferrari.....well not that cool, but close. When I found it I was pretty stoked and the coolest thing about it came hours later when I was taking pics. When I took the tag pic I noticed that it was actually made in by Italy by Italstyle under the authority of Ferrari on December 15th of 1979!!! This bad boy is over 30yrs old and its an actual licensed Ferrari product not some bootleg 80s Hampton Beach swag which don't get me wrong is still dope nonetheless.

JUSTICE is served...

I posted the Ken Griffey Jr StarLine jacket the other day and now for your viewing pleasure I present David Justice. Justice played in the MLB for 13 years on 4 different teams but c'mon his claim to fame is marrying Halle Berry......can you say Monsters Ball!!!!!!! Oh yeah he also played in MTV's Rock 'N' Jock softball game which was classic......they should bring that show back. This obviously isnt as dope as the Junior jacket but its still amazing and we only have 1 in stock! P.S. The pictures dont do this jacket JUSTICE, hahaha.

Junior & The Kid & The Natural...

One of the reasons I love what I do is "the hunt" for vintage product. There's nothing like finding deadstock vintage gear that you never knew existed and this is a prime example. If you wouldve asked me last week about a Ken Griffey Jr Star Line jacket I would've said "I've never seen one before and I dont even know if there is such a thing". Fast forward a week and we found an AMAZING dig that had some of the sickest vintage sports apparel that I've ever seen in my life! The creme de la creme of the batch is the Ken Griffey Jr jacket above. The jacket is dated 1991 when "The Kid" was in his prime and was considered the best player in baseball. Griffey Jr is back on the Mariners and expected to return for the 2010 season so break out the Air Griffey Max 1's and get ready to see Junior hit another one out of Safeco Field!!

Its been super hot this week and Im not realy thinking about wearing jackets or skiing for that matter. However I did want to share some pics of a vintage Coca Cola jacket I have in stock. These jackets were produced for the 92 Winter Olympics, officially known as the XVI Olympic Winter Games which were a winter multi-sport event which was staged in Albertville, France. This jacket although not as rare or sought after is often compared to the Polo 92 suicide jacket because the colors and the big back ski graphic. Ive always though it was one of the dopest vintage jacket and just wanted to share some pics for anyone who hasnt seen it before.....ENJOY!

Paper or Plastic...

Picked up a couple Dream Team tyvek jackets today at the flea market. These bad boys are made of Tyvek (most commonly referred to as the paper jackets) which is the same material used for priority packages at the post office. For those that dont know these were a Kellogg's Promotion that you had to send away for back in 1992. The jacket features Dream Team Members Larry Bird, David Robinson, Karl Malone, Chris Mullin and John Stockton Action prints and facsimile signatures on the jacket. These are great to rock in the summer because they are super lightweight, pretty much like wearing a piece of paper.

Def Jam...

"If a Pirate had a Def Jam shirt (jacket) she'd be hard on his ship" (quote from the video below). Above is one of my favorite vintage pieces in my whole entire inventory. A vintage Def Jam varsity jacket, like new condition, in my size and worn by none other than Karen, hahaha. Who is Karen you ask??? I honestly dont know who Karen is but this was her jacket because as you can see her name was ebroidered on the chect. Ive had this jacket for a couple years and Ive been meaning to get it customized with a For All To Envy patch or something......maybe even just an old Beastie Boys or Run Dmc pacth over Karen's name. The jacket also features a Def Jam patch on the right sleeve and the record needle on the left chest which was part of their original logo. Anyways just wanted to share one of my favorite vintage pieces, ENJOY!
