Good New, Bad News...

First off I just got an email from the Beastie Boys website with the heading HOUSTON WE HAVE A PROBLEM and attached was short video with Ad Rock and MCA. The Beastie Boys canceled all scheduled concerts and delayed their next album release while member Adam “MCA” Yauch is treated for a cancerous tumor in a salivary gland, Yauch says in a video statement to fans.“The good news is that they did scans of my whole body and it’s only localized in this one area and it’s not in a place that affects my voice,” Yauch says. “So, that’s nice. That’s convenient.”The cancer is in his left parotid gland and “also in a lymph node right in that area,” he says. He will likely undergo surgery next week and radiation treatments afterward, he says. By Alan DukeCNNLOS ANGELES, California (CNN).

The good news is their new song "Too Many Rappers" featuring Nas has leaked and its DOPE!!!!! I'm so pumped for the new CD and cant wait to see them live again!! Hopefully MCA makes a speedy recovery and the Beasties get back to what they do best......making good music!!

Last night Nas performed (Sly Fox) on David Letterman and came out rockin a vintage 1992 Olympic Dream Team Jacket. These jackets were available via mail order through the Kellogg cereal co. Also these jackets were made out of Tyvek which is the same material that the USPS priority packages are made of :-)
