Caught Stealin'...

I've been caught stealing;
once when I was 5...
I enjoy stealing.
It's just as simple as that.
Well, it's just a simple fact.
When I want something,
I don't want to pay for it.

Leo used to always list heat for good prices but I havent checked his auctions in a while and look what happens! Vintage AF1 Purple Hi's, sz 11 NDS for $150 bucakaroos !! Someone is a happy camper because these are pretty sought after for AF1 collectors or any "sneakerhead" for that matter!

Caught Stealing...

Winona Ryder aint got nothing on this steal!! If these were a 10.5 or 11 I would be mad, matter fact I'm still mad that I didn't bid on them! Above is a pir of OG black/blue Jordan I's that recently sold on eBay for $203.50 . Its crazy to me that you can get a pair of NDS OG I's for $200 while people (even myself a couple times) are paying well over that for some of the junk Jordan Brand is putting out now-a-days! The great part about these is the seller didn't even know he had them but his kids found them when they were rummaging through his old records, hahahaha. The seller was even from N. Hollywood, I could've drove down the street and picked them up and saved the $20 shipping!

Been Caught Stealing...

I remember when this video first came out, I was in like 6th grade and used to watch it on MTV after school.

Caught Stealin...

This auction is from a couple weeks back but I had it saved on my eBay watch list. I saw this auction right when it got listed and thought about making an offer but never did. The auction was for a pair of 1990 Nike Quantum Force highs in a red/white colorway. I don't mind the Quantum Forces but my personal favorite from that year are the Ultra Force lows. The seller had a buy it now of $70 with a best offer option and the buyer got them for $41.12 which is a steal in my book. The sneakers show no signs of cracking and to be honest looked like they were worn a handful of times and then tossed in the closet for 20yrs! I probably shouldve gotten them for that price but oh well no biggie smalls!

Caught Stealing...

eBay is full of great deals especially on sneakers but you have to be very careful of fakes, especially with Jordan's. Above is a great deal that someone just got on the Jordan I OLNL pack. The auction ended for $47 and this pack usually sells for $250-$300 in Deadstock condition! Although the ones above were used, they are in great condition and with a little elbow grease they would probably look good as new. In my opinion buying NDS or VNDS (near deadstock or very near deadstock) sneakers is the best especially if you're gonna keep them for yourself to wear......why not save a hundred or so dollars for a pair of sneakers that have been worn a couple times???? Unfortunately they were my size (I'm a true 10.5 but can rock sz 11) and I didn't see the auction but there's always next time so remember while you're sleeping I'm hunting for the next great deal :-)

P.S. *Helpful HINT* A short and undescriptive auction title can = a good steal.

Rare Runners...

Check out these killer kicks that just ended on eBay . Looks to me like someone at the Nike factory decided to play a joke and sew the swoosh upside down on some vintage runners. Once Nike spotted the mistake they probably fired the person and called up the NBA and said "Hey we have some sneakers with an upside down swoosh on them, do you want to buy them and sell them as NBA sneakers?". As you can see the NBA jumped at that opportunity and the rest is history, hahahaha. For real though Im not sure the back story on these all I know is they are hilarious and I shouldve bought them for $41 just to wear and watch people's reaction.

eBay Steal...

This might be one of the best Nike steals on eBay Ive seen in a long time. The purple AF1 high from 1993 is one of the most sought after vintage AF1's and Ive seen them go for $300-$500 in deadstock condition w/box. The seller posted a "new" picture of them but stated they were used a few times which might have thrown people off from clicking buy it now. Well niketalker alljayevryjay didnt hesitate and won the auction for a super steal price of $50 !!!!!! The shoes are a sz 9 which makes me happy because if they were my size I wouldve been pretty bummed. The first pic above is them brand new and the 2nd pic is the actual pic when the buyer got them in, the soles are the only place that shows any signs of wear but a little magic eraser should get them looking like new!! Congrats on the steal!!
