TTK x AM90...

The homie TTK hasn't done a custom pair of kicks in a while so it was nice to see these AM90's pop up on his Blog. Inspired by the paint chipping on his desk (talk about random, Mike) these are named "Snowblind's." When I saw them I thought they were for a Stormtrooper to rock at the next Star Wars convention! Either way they came out dope and it looks like TTK is back on his grizzy so stay tuned!

The homie TTK is celebrating his 30th birthday tonight with "30 Years On Planet Earth" @ Sole Food NYC (Manhattan) 7pm-11pm. New paintings, new customized sneakers, free drinks, free admission and open to all ages!! Unfortunately I'm on a road trip so I wont be able to make it but if you're in the area head on over and check check check it out!!!!

SNKRPMPS NYC...

Went to Sneakerpimps on Friday night at Terminal 5 in NYC. I had never been before so I wanted to swing by to check it out and also see the homie TTK who was doing a live painting session. Seeing how MJ (RIP) passed away a day prior TTK decided to go with "The King of Pop" tribute which as you can see from the pics above came out amazing!!!! The show featured a bunch of cool sneaker exhibits as well as sneaker trading, live art installments and an x-box competition. DJ Clark Kent started the night off with a little MJ tribute mix and there were also performances by Wale, the Cool Kids, Clipse etc.. Overall it was a good time, good music, good people and I enjoyed the show!

(Sneaker)Pimpin Ain't Dead...

Sneaker Pimps continue their nationwide tour with a stop in New York this coming Friday June 26th, 2009. The latest leg of the tour will not only offer access to the traveling sneaker showcase but live performances by Big Boi, Jadakiss, Clipse, The Cool Kids and Wale. Other highlights include an Xbox 360 video game battle and live painting installations by my homie TTK so you dont wanna miss it! Doors open at 8pm to all ages, with tickets for $25 on sale now at HERE

TTK...

Above is a new custom Nike dunks by the homie TTK. This project was done for the folks at Digiwaxx.com and they pretty much let TTK do his thing, all they asked is that their headphone logo was incorporated. The base reminds me of a fingerprint, the laces help balance out the heel logo and the yellow swoosh is a nice added color. ATCQ x TTK...

I just posted the horrible attempt by Nike to create a ATCQ inspired Jordan I and above are some customs done by my homie TTK. I dont know about anybody else but TTK's customs are what I would expect to see on those Jordans in terms of the design. I mean TTK's green is a little lighter than the actual color but he kept the design uniform to how it was on the cd cover. Nike looks like just put some random red & green splatter marks on the sneaker with no attempt to recreate the similar line structure. Anyway I just wanted to share TTK customs so you could see what I think the sneakers should look like :-)
