Space Jam...

Another day, another Jordan retro. This time around though its the highly anticipated Space Jam XI that makes a comeback. I remember when these first dropped and the icy soles had me drooling like a fool. I dont want to say it before I actually have them in my hands but it looks like JB did a decent job on them and the packaging is pretty dope too. P.S. I remember when Ben Baller traded a Honda Civic for a pair that were apparently worn by MJ in the movie!!!

Originally released in 2003 as a part of a Air Jordan Flight Club Online package that included a matching fitted cap and sweatshirt, the Air Jordan XII Retro “Nubuck” makes its return this weekend along side the Toro Bravo release. The Black, White, and University Blue Air Jordan XII Retro was nicknamed “Nubuck” because of the shoe’s upper, which coincidentally used almost nearly all nubuck material. This time, the shoes are being released at select Jordan Brand retailers without having to purchase a hat or sweatshirt. Source

The Bolt is Back...

Like many brands from the 80s Lightning Bolt is trying to make a comeback. A lot of brands have tried a re-launch and failed so we'll see how the people react to this LB resurrection. Ive always loved the vintage polos with the surf graphics and Im sure those will be a focus for the new line. Originally founded in Hawaii in 1972 as a board shaping and manufacturing company, its new life will be predominantly as a lifestyle apparel brand. Starting in June, Lightning Bolt will be distributed in both high end lifestyle and core retail outlets and will feature graphic tees, wovens, walk shorts, board shorts, denim and other accessories from $31 to $250. Air Classic...

I p[osted some sample pics of these not too long ago and they have started to hit the shelves. I still havent picked up the Persian colorway yet (Im slacking bad) but these are definitley going to be copped as well. Originally releaseds in 91 Nike decide this was the year to retro a bunch of different colorways and I must say Im not mad at all. The above Red/Black/WHite colorway is super simple and clean and an instant classic IMO. Available now at select Nike accounts. Source

Tailwind...

Ive posted pics of the Tour Yellow/Crimson Tailwinds that dropped a couple weeks back and above is the next colorway to drop. The new colorway is Orange Blaze/Varsity Purple and is the same colorway of the ATC retros that dropped in 08. These will drop later this month but they are currently available at Purchaze.com

The Kid...

Probably one of the most anticipated retros of 2009 is the Nike Air Griffey Max. There is no release date yet but if you cant wait another day to get these and you wear a sz 9.5 you're in luck because the people over at Sole-Locker have a pair for sale right now!!!! They will set you back $220 and they are brand new without box......it also says that there will be a restock soon so keep an eye out for possibly more sizes???

Air Classic BW...

Above are the Nike Air Classic BW persian violet colorway that are set to release in January (possibly the 1st but there is no official word yet). These were first released in 1991 and later retroed in 03 & 05 and have been a highly sought after shoe since day one. Im psyched for this release and I think its a great way for Nike to kick off 09!!!! If you cant wait till January for the officialy release in the states you can hit up eBay where a couple overseas sellers already have them for sale. Pics via rareairshoes
