Dental FLOSSIE...

Caution: If you eat too much candy or Trader Joe's mint cremes you could end up looking like the Garbage Pail Kid above!

GPK The Movie...

Hands down the best movie ever created!!! If you havent watched this before you dont know what youre missing, hahaha. I think I might go watch it right now!!

Stussy x John Pound...

If you were alive in the mid eighties, then you have probably seen John Pound’s work even if you don’t know his name. He’s the artist responsible for drawing the phenomenon that was Garbage Pail Kids. Released by the trading card company Topps in 1985, Garbage Pail Kids left a mark on many childhoods. For Stussy's spring 2009 collection, they worked with John on a series of tee shirts, mixing his famous style with some of our iconic imagery.

Having put together a capsule for Stussy earlier this year, his most well-known work is perhaps his special Garbage Pail Kids work for Topps back in the 1980s which was an unexpected success; “I had turned it in, in January of 85, and I didn’t really hear much from them, until maybe May or June. They were doing a test release and said ‘Oh man, it’s really taking off. Sales are really going good on Garbage Pail Kids. Lets do another series.’” Check the feature out over at Stussy.com

Adam Bomb...

Yeah I got the OG Adam Bomb tee in the vault!!! I used to have this tee when I was a youngin and I rocked it like everyday, I'll try and find some pics. My Dad used to take me to the corner store every week and buy me a couple packs of Garbage Pail Kids. I was crazy about these cards......I had every series, every set, every a/b card and I still have a bunch of unopened boxes in the basement :-) The shirt above is an original from 1986 featuring the iconic Abam Bomb picture and GPK logo on the back as well. Unfortunately its a sz Large and doesnt fit me but its one of my favorite vintage tees ever so I cant part with it.
