...but they look like sneakers! Taka Hayashi stays killin the Vans Vault collections and above is a peak into the Spring 2010 lineup. Featuring inspiration from Taka’s artwork and designs, the lineup finds influence from traditionally crafted Native American goods, vintage military surplus and craftsmanship from 1960’s Italian-made footwear. A release is scheduled for April 2010 so keep your eyes peeled. Source

Vans Japan dropped a couple new Sk8 Hi's this week and both styles are pretty unique! The first pair is inspired by classic hiking boots and remind me of Red Wing 875's. The second pair are straight reminiscent of old Navajo moccasins and feature fringe around the heel and a tribal inspired logo on the tongue. Both styles are available now at ABC-Mart but you're gonna have to get your Babelfish on ;-) Source

Blue Suede Shoes...

If Elvis wore Vans back in the day (Vans was founded 11 yrs before he died) he probably wouldve rocked these blue suede Chukkas. Above are 2 new Chukkas which feature a suede finish complimented with tonal laces and contrast midsoles. You cant really go wrong with these and they are available now through select Vans retail accounts. Source

Moss Man...

When I saw these the first thing I thought of was Moss Man from the Masters of the Universe. These totally look like something he would rock while chillin in the forrest. Moss Man is made of moss (DUH), whose power is to camouflage into foliage and other green areas, as well as control all plant life. He lives in the Evergreen Forest in harmony among the animals and plants.

Anyways Bodega is back with another dope collabo for the fall season. This time they teamed up with outdoors specialists Realtree and put a little twist on the classic Vans Chukka Boot. The colorway makes me wanna go hang out in the woods and look for Bigfoot or something. Stay tuned for further looks and information in the coming weeks. Source

miniVANS...

Vans has been killin it lately and it doesnt seem like they're stopping anytime soon.....since 1966 and still truckin. In the past week Ive seen like 5 pairs from the upcoming Vault line that I will probably buy. The ones that realy stuck out are the Denim pack: consisting of an Era and the Half Cab and the Wingtip Era LX shown above. The entire Fall line-up is now available at Kicks/Hi and the rest will be dropping at select retailers in the coming months. Source

Battle of the Brands...

Both Vans and Clae are dropping some new kicks this fall and it looks like they had the same color vision. Both companies chose a solid red and solid blue colorway for their respective sneakers.....the SK8-Hi and the Rollins. I'm not a huge fan of all red kicks but I can definitely mess with the blue pairs!! The Vans are available now at select retailers and the Clae's should be out soon. Source

ET Two Tone...

Above are some new Vans Vault Half Cab's set to release in latter half of 2009. They remind me of a two tone paint job on an old hot rod which is always a good look. There are two colorways, the gray/black and green/blue (not pictured) and there is no release date yet but I'll keep you posted if I hear anything. Source

Parra x Vans...

Coming fresh off the unveiling of his Nike Air Maxim 1 collaboration, something closer in the feature is Parra’s team-up with Vans. The pack consists of the Era, Sk8 Hi and the Chukka, all three coming in great summer colorways and of course featuring graphics by the Dutch artist. To complete the pack, Vans will also be releasing several t-shirts. Look out for the Parra x Vans Fall 2009 Pack in July. Source

Off The Wall...

At first I thought these were a Bottega Veneta collabo because of the woven leather uppers but they are the new model of the Vans Supercorsa. Due out in the fall these low tops feature a woven upper with stripes along the midsole and on the Vans tab. They will be available in black, white and olive. Source

Ch Ch Ch Chukka...

Above are some new summer 09 Vans Chukka Lows that just dropped. There are 2 colorways and they feature a mix of canvas and suede. If youre a fan of the pastel colors than these are perfet for your summer wardrobe! Source

I Got My Vans On...

...but they look like sneakers. I run through Vans pretty quick, every time I wear a new pair they seem to get trashed easy. Anyways I just picked up a new pair of Chukkas today in the black leather/suede combo which are super clean if I must say so myself. Vans are a no brainer for the summer.....so fresh and so clean.

Go Green...

Im not Irish but I am a Celtics fan so green is one of my fav colors. Nothing says spring/summer like a nice pair of fresh Vans authentics with some shorts and a tee. Above are some new Spring 09 Vans authentics that are will be dropping soon at your local Vans retailers. There are 4 new colors dropping Green (above), Blue, Orange, and Pink and they also feature a gingham print linings. Unfortunately there are no yellow or purple colorways for Lakers fans ;-) Source

Peacoat...

Vans have been straight killing the game lately with one dope shoe after another. Above are the new Vans "peacoat" chukkas that feature an all wool upper, black sole and an anchor button. These come in 3 colorways: Grey, Black and Navy and there is no word on the exact release date but I'll keep you posted if I hear anything. Source Hypebeast

Everyone know the Tiffany dunks blasted sb's into mainstream and now the good people at Vans hit us with a little taste of their own. I sold my Tiff dunks awhile back and I personally like these better so Im definitely gonna cop a pair. The best part about these is they retail for $60, so you can save about $600 off the current tiffany sb price (going by flightclub prices). Canadian Tuxedo...

It seems like every other day Im posting a new pair of vans that I like and today is no different. Above are the new Anthony Van Engelen lows that feature a mix blue suede and workshirt material. These are definitely a great looking summer shoe or a perfect compliment to a Canadian tuxedo if you get down like that!
