Only Built 4 Ottawa Lynx...

Vintage Ottawa Lynx pro model snapback by New Era!! Shit, Ugueth Urbina played for the Lynx......last week I posted a Burlington Bees fitted and Ugueth pitched for them too. When he gets out of jail he definitley needs to roll through and cop some Minor League hats!! The Ottawa Lynx were a AAA minor league baseball team from 1993 to 2007. The team's home field was Lynx Stadium in Ottawa, Ontario. Over the team's 15 seasons, it was the Minor League affiliate of the Montreal Expos (1993-2002), Baltimore Orioles (2003-2006), and Philadelphia Phillies (2007).

I'm the BEE'S KNEES...

And another one.....vintage minor league fitted that is. The Burlington Bees are a Class A minor league baseball team, affiliated with the KC Royals (2001-Present), that play in the Midwest League. The Bees have farmed many big leaguers through the years as well as a handful of Hall of Famers such as Catfish Hunter & Paul Molitor. Speaking of former Bees players, you might reconginze this name; Ugueth Urbina. Yup the same Ugueth Urbina that is currently serving a 14 yr prison sentence for attempted murder once played on the Bees and was the ace of the pitching staff in '93, going 10-1 with a 1.99 ERA. I dont see what the big deal is, Urbina merely tried to show a few of his farm workers his machete and then give them a bath in Gasolina....I think he was hanging out with Daddy Yankee at the time. So with all that being said, we have sizes 7 3/8 & 7 1/2 in stock.

A Major League story in a Minor League town...

Above are a couple more vintage Minor League fitteds we have in stock. First up is the Winnipeg Goldeyes, the name derives from a relatively small freshwater fish popular in Manitoba as a delicacy when smoked. The Goldeyes were founded in 1994 and are a member of the Northern League, which is not affiliated with MLB. The Goldeyes won the championship their inaugural year but haven't been back since which just makes this hat cooler, don't ask why!

The next team is none other than the Asheville Tourists. I've always loved their logo.....it makes me wanna pack up my suitcase, grab my louisville fuckin slugger and take a vacation somewhere warm!! The Tourists are a Class A team based in Asheville, NC and have been a farm team of the Colorado Rockies since 1994. In 1968, the Tourists won the Southern League championship under manager Sparky Anderson. Fun Fact: The Tourists would play a "minor" role in the movie Bull Durham starring Kevin Costner as Crash Davis. Crash would finish his baseball career as a member of the Tourists after being cut from the Durham Bulls; it was with Asheville that he would break the all-time minor league home run record.

Sizes in stock:
Goldeyes 7 1/8, 7 1/4 & 7 3/8
Tourists 7 1/4 only

Sounds like a plan...

The Nasville Sounds are a MiLB team currently playing out of the Pacific Coast League and the Triple-A affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers. Established as a Double-A team in 1978, the Sounds moved up to the Triple-A level in 1985. The team has served as a farm club for six major league franchises: New York Yankees (1980–1984), Detroit Tigers (1985–1986), Cincinnati Reds (1987–1992), Chicago White Sox (1993–1997), Pittsburgh Pirates (1998–2004) and Milwaukee Brewers (2005–present). Enough with the history lesson, the old logo is so dope that Elvis would cry at the mere sight of this cap. All blue crown, grey underbrim, MiLB logo on the back and Donnie Baseball approved. Sz 7 1/4 available

The second hat is the Butte Copper Kings aka the Burger King hat. Both hats are so dope and the quality/fit is amazing....unlike some of the newer fitteds. Green underbrim and NO new era back or side logo......so fresh & so clean. Email me for sizes and availability!

Called up from the Minors...

A month or so ago (its all a big blur) we got in a couple hundred vintage minor league fitteds and here are a couple more we have in stock. Both hats are from the inaugural year (1993) of the Hawaii Winter Baseball league, based in Honolulu, Hawaii. The HWB league was funded by Major League Baseball and consisted of players from the MLB, Nippon Professional Baseball, the Korea Baseball Organization as well as independent leagues. Some of the former teams include: Lahaina Whalers, Maui Stingrays (both shown above), Hilo Stars, Kauai Emeralds, Kaneohe Bay Dawgs and Kona Man O'Wars. Both of the logos are super dope and the colorways arent too shabby either, only a few in stock so get em while they're hot!!!

BO Knows Chicks...

We picked up a bunch of vintage minor league snapbacks yesterday and above is one of my favorites. The team is the Memphis Chicks (originally short for Chickasaws) and you might not know this but Bo made his professional baseball debut as a member of the Royals' Class AA Memphis Chicks on June 30, 1986. He spent most of the season with the Memphis Chicks in the minor leagues before being called up for regular duty in 1987, where he had 22 home runs, 53 RBIs and 10 stolen bases as an outfielder for the Royals. The logo above though was used in the 90s when Derek Lee played for them. Lee was the 1996 MVP of the Southern League with the Memphis Chicks and a year later made his major league debut with the San Diego Padres. The Memphis Chicks are no longer a Minor League team because In 1998, they moved to Jackson, TN and became the West Tenn Diamond Jaxx, AA affiliate of the Chicago Cubs.

LOOKOUT below....

One of my all time favoite Minor league logos just got a CapCity makeover and its dope! The hat features a grey crown, navy bill, red top button and the classic C logo on the front. The hat is $35 and there is a full size run in stock HERE. The Chattanooga Lookouts are a minor league baseball team based in Chattanooga, TN. They are named for nearby Lookout Mountain. The team, which plays in the Southern League, are currently as of this year a Double-A affiliate of the Los Angeles Dodgers. The Lookouts play in AT&T Field, located in Chattanooga which opened in 2000 and seats 6,160 fans.

The (Fisher) Cats Meow...

While I was back home I picked up some Fisher Cats fitteds. The Primaries hat is my favorite but I needed these to complete the set. The best part is they were on sale for $17 each, so I got both for $34 with NO TAX (I miss that about NH). The hats are available ONLINE if youre interested and wanna rep New Hampshire or just want a dope minor league hat.
