Crack a 40 open, Homie, and Guzzle it...

Vintage Malt Liquor tees have always held a special place in my heart and this one is no different. When I think of St Ides, I think of all the classic hip hop videos done by various artist for their marketing campaigns. I also think of getting drunk as a skunk on this nectar of the Gods produced by none other than the PBR company! Think Pabst on steroids and that pretty much sums up a 40oz of St Ides. As the saying goes "Get your girl in the mood quicker, make your jimmy thicker, St. Ides"!

Billy Dee...

Billy Dee Williams might be best known for his role in the Star Wars movies but we all know that the Colt 45 commercials put him on the map!!!

Bottoms Up...

Looking for last-minute gift ideas for that friend who enjoys knocking back Colt 45 in massive quantities? Try to find a copy of Colt 45’s Bottoms Up drinking game, created in 1970. The rules are a bit fuzzy, but they involve drinking lots of Colt 45 and following the instructions listed on the “action cards,” such as: “Smoke two cigarettes simultaneously.” “Obey any wish or request of the player on your right.” “Put an article of your clothes on backwards.” “Do a Jack Benny imitation for 30 seconds.” “Explain to other players why you think that sex before marriage is a necessity.” Sounds like a whole lot of laughs. Judging by the ad shown here, male players should be fully dressed, while women should wear bikinis. If you think Bottoms Up is the game for you keep an eye on eBay because one just ended last week for 99 cents!!! Source

Brass Monkey...

So almost everyone has heard the Beastie Boys song Brass Monkey before but do you know what it means?? Well in case you didnt know Brass Monkey usually refers to a cocktail consisting of equal parts dark rum, vodka, and orange juice. However an alternative version of the brass monkey is defined as a 40 ounce bottle of malt liquor that has been consumed until the level of the malt liquor is equal to the label, upon which point orange juice is added. Now you know and knowing is half the battle.

The Main Malt...

Speaking about 40oz's, I absolutley love vintage malt liquor tees! I have a bunch of them in stock and they are honestly up there with caricature tees in terms of coolness!!! I love the old logo's and the bright colors, they literally scream drink me or else!!! The one above is a vintage 70s Olde English tee that features the old tiger logo which is my personal favorite out of them all.

Olde English 800
Alcohol Content: 5.86%
AKA: 8-Ball, Old E, OE, Ow-Ee.
Rep: The choice of OGs.
With a great head, voluptuous J-Lo body, smooth finish, OE is the complete package. Even though Miller recently bought the brand from Pabst, they seem to have wisely chosen not to mess with the original recipe.
Aesthetics: Classic old school label that announces you just bought 40 ounces, not once, not twice, but three times.
Trivia: OE has been praised by more rappers (without being compensated, see St. Ides) than every other malt liquor combined. Devotees past and present include Ice Cube, Eazy E, NWA, NAS, Beastie Boys, Alkaholics, TuPac and Dr. Dre.
Flava: 9
Street Cred: 9
Power 5
