I feel like 09 is the year of the blazer. Ive already bought 2 pairs this year and these might be my 3rd pair. Clark Hassler used his experience of grinding on the trunk of a vintage Mercedes-Benz, big-bodied sedan as an inspiration for his Nike SB Blazer Low. Just like the look of the classic Benz used for his Custom Series contribution, Hassler’s Blazer Low is designed with a classy, clean and simple approach. The entire upper of the shoe is smooth, premium looking black leather only divided by stitching and some perforation on the mid-panel. Color is only visible on the inside of the tongue and the gold “NIKE” on the heel tab, which matches the gum sole. These will be dropping this month at your local Nike SB retailers.
