DOPE on a stick...

I love seeing stuff like this, 22 years ago Keith Haring doodled on a skateboard and it just sold at Phillips de Pury for a whopping $16,250!!!! The skateboaord features a Haring character ollieing over a baby and his signature and date in the middle. Haring’s skateboard ended up being the third highest selling item and it just goes to show that you never know what will be valuable down the road........not saying you should be a pack rat and keep everything but watch what you throw out because it could come back to haunt you :-) Source

Swatch, the others just watch...

If you didnt have a swatch watch back in the day you weren't cool, simple as that. Above is the original Keith Haring Swatch Watch flyer from 1986. Haring designed 3 watches for this collection which were limited to a total of 9,999 and had a retail value of $50. My personal favorite is the Serpent GZ102 which now-a-days can fetch anywhere up to $1,000 depending on condition. EVery so often they pop up on eBay so keep an eye out if you wanna get your Swatch on!

Fresh Fest...

This is one of the DOPEST vintage tees ever. “FRESH FEST,” established in 1984, was one of the biggest and most successful concert tours in Hip-Hop history. The original tour lineup featured Run DMC, Kurtis Blow, Newcleus, the Fat Boys and Whodini. The Keith Haring graphic used was from the World Breakdancing Championship that Swatch sponsored along with the Fresh Fest event. Haring at the time was designing his own Swatch Wathes which are still very popular to this day. The shirt is am original screen stars tee (tag still intact) that features a Keith Haring character in neon colors breakdancing with a swatch watch for the head. The back of the shirt features the line-up of groups attending the festival which I wouldve loved to see in concert. Seriously this tee belongs in a museum!!!!!!!!!
