The Battering Ram...

Jerome Bettis rockin the vintage LA Rams scrip hat on draft day back in 93. This hat is probably the 3rd best script hat after of course the Kings & Raiders. Its crazy to think that the Raiders and Rams were both in LA back in the 80s/90s. The Rams were first the Cleveland Rams from 1936-1945 and then moved to LA in 1946 where they played till 1994. Most people remember Bettis on the Steelers but he was a force to be reckon with right out the gates. Bettis was picked in the first round (10th overall) of the 1993 NFL draft by the then Los Angeles Rams. A star even in his rookie year, he rushed for 1,429 yards in 1993, and was named Offensive Rookie of the Year. He quickly earned the nickname "The Battering Ram". He rushed for over 1,000 yards in his first two seasons with the Rams. Pic via Gettyimages
