Last night was the taping for the VH1's Hip Hop Honors 2009. This is the first time the show will be honoring a record label. Host Tracy Morgan and a slew of superstar performers and presenters will be celebrating the incredible legacy of Def Jam Recordings. Over the last quarter-century Def Jam has led a cultural movement that has changed the world.
Kid Rock was one of the performers and needed a dope fit to rock so who's he gonna call........not the Ghostbusters better yet And Still/For All To Envy!! He asked for a Troop jacket so we laced him up with the original LL COOL J Troop suit!!!! When I think of oldschool Def Jam, I think of the Beastie Boys, RUN DMC and of course LL COOL J. This particular suit is hands down the most sought after and reconizgable Troop suit of all time and Kid Rock straight killed it!
