I'm not talking about those Jordans, more along the line of some vintage 1980 Nike track spikes that I just picked up at the thrift store. I rarely ever get sneakers (or track and field spikes) at the thrift store so this was a cool find for me. The shoes are called the Nike Vainqueur and are most recognizable by the Yellow/Orange/Green colorway which screams eat my dust as you cruise to the finshline. If I wore these I could probably beat Usain Bolt in the 100 that's how fly these are! The crazy thing is they are my size so I might take out the metal spikes and rock them to the mall.....on second thought that's not a good look. I'm not a Nike "spikes" specialist so I am a little confused because these are dated 1980 and the Nike Vainqueur came out in 1976. Anyways I was psyched to find these and wanted to share some pics, ENJOY!! P.S. "Vainqueur" in French means Winner which is what you will be if you wear these to the club!!!
