For all you Junior fans out there the Air Griffey Max 1 Volt has started to hit stores this week. This colorway follows up the March '09 return of the Air Griffey Max 1's. Several details are found on these retros including a #24 stitched on the velcro strap, representing Griffey's number during his career as a Seattle Mariner. This period, 1989-1999, was also the time in which the original Air Griffey Max 1 first launched. I like this colorway better than the freshwaters because it reminds me of the old mariners logo which was a classic. These are availbe now at Footlocker.com but sizes are limited and these will most likely sell out quick.
