Yesterday in LA was the release event for the new Nike Air Trainer 1. I posted the Bo trainers below and above are the McEnroe's. I'm not sure how the OG Air Trainer heads will feel about these, probably not too keen on them but what are you gonna do. The original Nike Air Trainer was worn by world-class athletes Bo Jackson and John McEnroe, which ignited the athletic training shoe craze 20 years ago! This updated model includes something called DiamondFLX, a patent-pending outsole system that provides flexibility and support through multi-directional movement – ideal for any training regimen. It also seems to be using flywire and a freesole with a max-air unit in the heel. These will be available in the U.S. beginning July 1, 2009 at $90 USD. Source
