Nike keeps the heat rolling out this year with this retro GEM. The rumors are true, the Nike Air Max 3 (formerly the Air Garnett 3) is making a comeback this October. Foot Locker is dropping a blk/mts/hyper-blue retroed Nike Air Max 3 in the OG colorway. The shoe is coming back pretty much unchanged, with its leather and gradient mesh upper and sizable air units in the sole (tuned air in the heel, zoom air in the forefoot). The only shift of note is some of Garnett’s signature details have fallen off, like the “OBF” which used to be on the sole (see the nucleus of the atom, now a swoosh) which stood for “Official Block Family” the name for Garnett’s core crew.
