Some may say the 2000 Jordan VI infared samples are one of the rarest J's in the world! Well back in 2000 some sample pics of the retro VI's leaked and there was a slight difference, the black on the midsole was swicthed to infared as well as the back Nike air logo. Nike ended up scrapping the retro version and went back with the original 1991 colorway. Rumor has it that there is only 10 pairs in existence and 1 of them is currently at $2,325.00 on eBay with 7 days left. One buyer has already offered $4,500 buy it now and I think these could hit the $5,000 mark and maybe even higher if a couple serious buyers get into a bidding war. The auction is for a sz9 (sample size) and the seller is a collector from France with almost flawless feedback. I included a couple pics of the retro version so you can see the difference.
