Above are the retro Nike Blazer suede hi's that are being retroed this year. The Nike Blazer was born in 1972 and was one of the first basketball shoes put out by Nike along side the Bruin. The suede Blazer released a year later in 1973 and was a huge hit with its over sized swoosh and numerous colorways that immediately caught people eyes. George Gervin is probably the most recognizable NBA player to have worn the Blazers, especially on his infamous ICE MAN poster and there was also a retro tribute version that released last year.
