Thrift Store Stories...

These are true stories about my vintage thrift store experiences.....Enjoy!! This story is called "2 Left Feet"......I went to my local spot last year and after digging through piles of junk and coming up empty handed I was right about to leave when I spotted something. Through the haze of the cigarette smoke (the lady working smokes like 10 cigarettes at a time & its hard to breath in that place) I noticed an orange box buried in the corner. For any nike collectors out there, when you see an orange box you know what time it is!!!! So I go over to the box and dig it out from underneath a pile and of dirty old shoes and I open it real quick just to see if both shoes are in there and I see a pair of OG vintage 1990 air flight lows. The colorway was sick and I was praying they were my size but turns out they were an 8.5 :-( I ask the lady if she has anymore and her raspy voice replies "Sorry hunny, those are last pair". I cant complain about that, 1 pair of vintage Nike's is better than no pair of vintage Nike's. So I go up to the register, pay her and Im on my way home wilth a smile from ear to ear. I get home and Im super psyched to look at them and take some pics for the Niketalk Pickup post. I get the sneakers out of the box and something isnt right......there are 2 left feet!!!!!!!!! WTF I couldn't believe it where are the right feet????? I immediately drove back to the thrift store and searched the whole store from top to bottom but the right shoes were nowhere to be found. So here I sit admiring a MINT (no cracking at all) pair of vintage Nike Flights which nobody will ever be able to wear.....unless you have 2 left feet?????????
