The hat I posted below reminded me of the vintage Mark Gonzales t-shirt and flip flops I had awhile back. The shirt was a vision longsleeve tee from 1986 and the flip flops didnt have a date but Im assuming they were released around the same time.

wowwwwwwwww i've never seen Gonz flip flops!
back in the early days of Bulldog, i sold a Gonz t-shirt for a pretty penny. The Japanese (of course) buyer had an Earthlink (haha) page with hundreds of photos of Gonz stuff, but no flip flops that i recall!
A couple yrs ago I actually found a full box of the Gonz flip flops, brand new!!!!!! I sole them all and I kick myself for not saving one pair for nostalgia!!!
