Sittin' on Top of the World...

Vintage Michigan snapback by T.O.W Cap Co which is still alive and kicking today. The Fab Five were once on top of the college basketball world, however despite their talents, they never won a championship. They reached the NCAA championship game as freshmen in 92 and again as sophomores in 93 but lost both times, first to Duke and the following year to North Carolina in the now infamous "Chris Webber, Timeout" game.

Founded in 1986 by CEO Peter Wilson, Top of the World began importing and selling collegiate headwear at University of Oklahoma football games in Norman, OK. Convinced that the small business success would thrive with a broader base, Pete began to build an importing and distributing company aimed at a national market. Growing slowly and steadily through the late 80's with the sales of collegiate headwear, Top of the World soon emerged as a major player in the marketplace by becoming the fashion leader in the early 90's, ranked first in sales by the Collegiate Licensing Company.
