POWER...

Ice-T dropped his 2nd album POWER in 1988 and it was destined to be a classic right out the gates. Power is definitely in my top 20 best rap cds of all time......the smooth flow, uncut lyrics and catchy beats keep you listening from beginning to end. The album was fueled by the hit single "Colors" (from the film of the same name). High Rollers is another classic song from the cd and my personal favorite is "Im Your Pusher", an anti-drug song interpreted as having the opposite message. Also the album cover was the subject of controversy upon its original release, due to the provocative pose of Darlene Ortiz, Ice T's girlfriend at the time. Now Ice-T makes his living on the hit show Law & Order SVU and in his spare time he likes to diss Soulja Boy, haha! Also pictured is a vintage POWER tee I have in stock. P.S.
