Clyde Drexler was a smooth operator when he was on the court. If you watched him play he just kinda glided (hence the nickname DUH) across the court and soared to the basket with ease. He wasn't the flashiest player in the league but he made a name for himself by being a great all around player. Drexler wore Kangaroos for his first couple years in the league and later switched to Avia. Nike actually offered Drexler a show contract but he didnt want to be wearing the same shoe everyone else was wearing.......I wonder what his shoe would've looked like if he had signed with Nike??????? Above is a pair of Drexler Avia's that I have in stock and I think they look better than half the new stuff being put out. Avia also put out a limited pair for the 1992 Olympics but I cant find a picture anywhere....
