1968 A's hat...

This past weekend I came across a vintage A's hat from 1968 and my first thought was: is this game worn?? I couldn't find any name stitched on the inside band to say who's hat it was so my second thought was: who was on the 1968 A's team ??? Come to find out Mr October aka Reggie Jackson played outfield for the A's in 1968. After examining the hat a little more I found a very faint stamp on the underbrim but I cant seem to make out anything. Im still not sure if its game worn or by whom but I will keep searching and see if I come up with any leads. Also If anyone has any other info feel free to drop me an email. P.S. One of the main reasons I love vintage is the mystery of the items I come across. I love knowing the back story of when, where and how a particular item ended up in my hands all those years later :-) P.P.S. I think I've been watching too much Antique Road Show, hahaha
