The hick from french lick was born to ball. In his 13 seasons with the celtics Larry Bird became a SUPERSTAR, simple as that. Bird personified hustle, consistency and excellence in all areas of play--as a scorer, a passer, a rebounder, a defender, a team player, and, perhaps above all, as a clutch performer. Bird was named the NBA MVP 3 seasons in a row (84, 85 & 86) as well as the NBA FINALS MVP in 84 & 86. I recently picked up a bunch of vintage deadstock Bird Converse MVP tees and I have to say they are the coolest bird shirts I've ever seen. Check my Ebay Store for tons of vintage :-)
