WWJWD! Big Game James looking cool as the other side of the pillow in his triacetate Starter warm-up and Starter dufflebag, which is most likely used for transporting his goggles and New Balances. In the 1980s triacetate was also used with polyester to create shiny tracksuits which were very popular at the time. The material was very smooth and shiny on the outside and soft and fleecy on the inside......say word!!

White Castle fries only come in one size...
In 1985, to celebrate Def Jam's distribution deal with the biggest record label in the world, CBS, Def Jam threw a party catered entirely with White Castle hamburgers. The party was thrown on the roof of the legendary New York nightclub, Danceteria. Corporate executives like Walter Yetnikoff rubbed shoulders with young street kids, ultimately finding themselves in the middle of a White Castle food fight.
Def before Dishonor...
Def Jam was the first hip-hop label to take a cue from hard rock and heavy metal by creating merch for their artists and label. There were no t-shirts for the early artists but audiences for Beastie Boys, Public Enemy, and Def Jam expanded when Anthrax guitarist Scott Ian proudly wore them during photo shoots and on stage. I snagged it for my personal stash because its a classic and it fits like a glove, No O.J.

87-88 state of mind that I'm in...
I never noticed Mike Smerk was caricaturized until just now, amazing!! Did you know he has a Myspace page with 22 friends which include Earvin & Magic Johnson and of course the only other white guy on the 87-88 team, Kurt Rambis.......Chuuuuch!
