Made in the USA...

Above are both colorways of the Starter jackets made for the 1984 USA baseball team. I was only four at the time so I dont remember the Olympics that year but I do know they were held at Dodger Stadium in LA and eight teams competed in the tournament. Japan would go on to win the Gold beating the US team 6-3 but the Mark McGwire USA Topps card would go on to be a big pull for collectors. To this day the card is still highly collectible and one of the most reconizable baseball rc's of all time. A game worn/autographed USA jacket sold a few years back at AUCTION for $550!!! Deadstock, lightweight and a great for warmer weather yet still gives you that oldschool satin Starter feel without all the puffines.

They call me a Camel but I mastered the drought...
If your Dad or Mom smokes Camel cigarettes and has one of these hanging in their closet, go steal it right now, list it on eBay and get money! Finding one of these now-a-days is like going to the strip club and getting handed a hundred and fifty $1 bills just because! If you're not familiar with the Rayon craze, our good friends in Malaysia pay big money for specific tri-blend tee's, this being one of the best along with Nike. The last two on eBay sold for $120 and $180, find 6 of them and you could be a thousandaire, do the math! eBay is like the stock market, master it and you can make money for years to come!!!
93 till infinity...
Did a little digging this weekend and found this 93 rugby for $6, my size too! Funny thing is there was one on eBay last week and I hit the seller up with a decent offer and she turned it down, worked out in the end, the vintage Gods were looking out for me!!!

Rough, Rugged and Raw...

Does anyone remember the Starter Rugged Terrain line?? Jeans, Boots and a Parka were the highlight of this ad gone wrong. When I look at this Ad I dont see Starter, I see a company who tried to follow a late 90's trend instead of statying true to their roots!!!!!!! Guilty confession, If I ever find a pair of those boots I'm gonna rock em' till the soles fall off!

Pay Day...

Its official, we just set the record for the highest selling vintage snapback....and yes they already paid. Last year we sold a Metal Shield Raiders snapback (the Cube Boyz n the Hood hat) for $500 and yesterday we beat our previous record with the Raiders hat above which sold for a whopping ..........$550!!! It's one of the rarest Raiders hats out there but I honestly didn't think it would go for that much, it just goes to show people will still pay
Dre Day...

One of the few photos where members of NWA are rocking white hats. Taken from the photoshoot for LA weekly back in 1989, Dre has on a vintage UCLA circle Game glued tag. I can't figure out what hat Eazy is wearing but he does have on some vintage Gucci low's..........Yella in III's, Dre & Ren in Solo flights!
