Growing up the Boucher's loved hockey and always dreamed of playing in the NHL. Philippe's dream came true in 1991 when he was drafted in the first round (13th overall) by the Buffalo Sabres. However his brother Bobby took his talents to the south where he would become one of the most feared linebackers in college football playing for the Cougars at the University of Louisiana.
